Planning a Dive Trip? Be Prepared!
There are health risks associated with travel, and some of them may be life-threatening. You can prevent or reduce many of them.
DAN TravelAssist can provide the information you need to be safe around the world. That is a benefit you receive just for being a DAN Member. You can also buy from DAN the most recent edition of International Travel Health Guide, a useful book of travel health advisories or the DAN Dive and Travel Medical Guide. Both guides are available from our Online Store
Before You Leave:
- Put a copy of the DAN Dive and Travel Medical Guide with your plane tickets.
- Call DAN to make sure your insurance coverage is adequate and up-to-date. Compare the various insurance programs to make sure you have all the coverage you need.
- Talk to a DAN Medic if you have any questions regarding your health and diving.
