DAN is currently accepting applications for the following positions:

• Medical Coordinator
  

Medical Coordinator

Work performed:

• Provide responses to information and emergency medical inquiries regarding Diver Injury, Health and Safety.
• Plan, conduct, and review chamber assessments for Recompression Chamber Assistance Program.
• Direct, supervise, instruct, and evaluate training, equipment, and services to assist Chamber/Hyperbaric related training courses.
• Plan, implement, and administer the medical aspects on training programs.
• Develop and maintain the Hyperbaric Safety Electronic Newsletter.
• Liaise with directors, physicians and hyperbaric chamber networks thru the DAN Recompression Chamber Assistance Program.
• Present and approve course materials for medical presentations.
• Monitor communication between medical staff, utilizing personnel directories and case reporting through the DAN Medical Services Call Center.
• Maintain awareness of advances in medicine, computerized diagnostic equipment, data processing technology, and government regulations.
